Welcome to our wedding website! We are thrilled to celebrate this day with all of you. This website is meant to give you some information you may need (location, nearby accommodations, registry, etc), along with plenty of information you absolutely don’t need, most certainly never knew you wanted, but may quite possibly enjoy... (our engagement story, photos of us, gigantic 1500 pixel close up images of our cats...)
The two of us have known each other for years - almost 13 if you're counting. (we're not.) We met when Katie was a freshman in highschool spending all her days on debate team and in drama club, and while Barton was enjoying the perks of an awesome home-schooling (thanks, Barton's mom) by building computers and making homebrew. We lost touch for several years but eventually crossed paths again.
After becoming reacquanted, we made the dreadful mistake of spending a little too much time together, cooking one too many meals together, and laughing a little too hard at the same things together. Now, all these years after we first met, we are engaged and looking forward to our life together.

Mason Murer is conveniently located near I-85, inside the perimeter near Piedmont Road. On the way to the venue, you will pass several industrial looking buildings. Don’t worry - you’re going the right way! Directions can be obtained using Google Maps - if you have any questions, feel free to send us a message, or call the gallery at (404) 879-1500
**Pro-tip/Bro-tip:** Beer fans will easily find the gallery--it’s down the road from Sweetwater Brewery.
Mason Murer has abundant on-site parking. Street parking is also permitted. It's practically the all you can eat buffet of car-parking-opportunities.
We have reserved discounted room blocks for Friday, August 30th through Monday, September 2nd at two Atlanta hotels for our out-of-town guests (or for any in-town guests that would like to be near the reception,). One is at the Intercontinental Buckhead - (make a reservation here), and one is at the W Midtown - (make a reservation here). Single King beds and double Queen beds are available at each hotel. The room blocks expire at the end of July, so please make your reservations soon!
Both hotels are in-town, with Buckhead being closer to shops and residential areas and Midtown being closer to sightseeing and nightlife. If you have questions about where to stay, feel free to e-mail us and we'll give you our super-secret insider view on hotel pros/cons.
Note to out of town guests : If you are planning to book a hotel, please do so soon. The weekend of August 31 coincides with several major Atlanta based international business conferences (aka dragon con), and hotel availability has historically been extremely limited. We did our best to find less costly hotel blocks, but unfortunately due to the number of events in taking place in the city our options were limited.
Bestowed with good fortune, we have managed to talk one of our favorite restaurants into catering our wedding - hope you're all fans of Restaurant Eugene! Entree choices will be on your RSVP cards for the main course, all the rest is secret. Please respond with your preference and a great deal of certainty, as we won't have the ability to switch your entree choice the night of the wedding.
If you have any serious allergies or major dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian), please feel free to e-mail us and we’ll happily accommodate you.
We'll be dressing to the nines, but no dress code is required. Please relax, and have a good time!
